Sabtu, 10 November 20121komentar

You may hesitate to upgrade to iOS 6 because of lack of tools to jailbreak the latest iOS. Formerly even mentioned by a senior hacker that there will be no jailbreak for iOS 6 considering the tight level of security that diberika Apple. But not this time because the Dev Team has released redsn0w tool to help you do a tethered jailbreak on iOS 6.

Considering this is a tethered jailbreak then you must manually install Cydia. If you do not want to wait for a more stable version and jailbreak unthered, please follow the step by step we provide below.

Supported Devices: ONLY for iPhone 4 and 4th-gen iPod Touch (A4 devices)

Should be prepared:
- Redsn0w downloads page
- IOS 6 - GSM iPhone 4
- IOS 6 - CDMA iPhone 4
- IOS 6 - 4th gen iPod touch

How to jailbreak iOS 6
1. Run redsn0w on your computer.
2. Select Extras from the main menu.
3. Choose 'Select IPSW "and point it to iOS 6 firmware file for iOS devices that you use.
4. redsn0w will confirm that the build has been identified successfully. When finished, proceed to the next step.
5. Click on the 'Back' button to return to the main menu of redsn0w and select 'Jailbreak'
6. Make sure you have ticked 'Install SSH' before the next step.
7. Redsn0w will process your request.

Do a tethered boot: after redsn0w jailbreak process is complete you need to do a tethered boot:
1. Position your iDevice into DFU mode.
2. Redsn0w from the main menu, select 'Extras' and then click the option 'Just boot'
3. boot-up your iDevice.

Install Cydia
Once the jailbreak process is completed, it is time to install Cydia. Install Cydia done manually because redsn0w version used in the process does not include Cydia therein.

1. Look for 'WiFi address' from your iDevice from the 'Settings' and record.
2. Open 'Terminal' app on the Mac to stay connected iDevice and type ssh root @ [youripaddress]
3. Next will be prompted for a password after connecting. The default password is alpine, unless you have changed the SSH password.
4. Type: - wget-q-O / tmp / cyinstall.sh http://downloads.kr1sis.net/cyinstall.sh && chmod 755 / tmp / cyinstall.sh && / tmp / cyinstall.sh
5. Wait processed.
6. You will see the Terminal to run scripts. Be patient until iDevice reboots.
7. When finished, you should see Cydia has been installed on the iDevice.
8. Good luck!
