When Samsung showcased Galaxy camera that runs Android, it seems only a matter of time to see a similar device that will enliven the camera market. In addition to Samsung, the leading camera manufacturer Nikon Coolpix S800c also bring a camera that runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Curious as to what performance?

Nikon Coolpix S800c is equipped with a backside-illuminated 1/2.3-inci 16 megapixel CMOS sensor, Nikon's EXPEED C2 processing engine and a 10x lens F3.2-8.5 25-250mm with optical image stabilization.

Equipped with built-in Wi-Fi, you can connect it to a network for browsing the web or launch Google Play Store. A 3.5-inch screen, 819K-dot OLED touchscreen will give full control of camera features, applications or games. Although available only 1.4GB of internal storage, but you can expand it via the SD card slot.

So what if there is no Wi-Fi? The camera can be connected directly to a smartphone or tablet with mobile broadband access, allowing you to send photos to the device and upload them anywhere. There are some cameras Wi-Fi from Sony, Canon, Samsung, Panasonic and Fujifilm can do it, but S800c deliver application availability, and large touch screen.

The camera also has a built-in GPS, intended to record location data to photos and movies, which may also be used for navigation, making it useful for the tourists. However, a somewhat disappointing is the battery life for the S800c is CIPA-rated for 140 shots.

Taking into account the use of the touch screen, Wi-Fi, zoom lens, taking full HD video clips, or take photos up to 8 frames per second, the battery life is likely to be shorter lived. Last question, how much is it? All the features and functions of this camera can be enjoyed with a price of about $ 350.
