When Google announced the Jelly Bean (JB), it may take ignite a uniform response from the community of Android: CyanogenMod (CM) 10! For those of you who are familiar with this ROM, then you would have understood if the team is taboo to question when the ROM was released. But this time CyanogenMod team took time to answer some questions via their Google accounts + today to satisfy the curiosity of their fans.

Postings are started with the naming of the newest version, considering Jelly Bean is a minimalist update of Ice Cream Sandwich (from 4.0 to 4.1), then natural to suppose that some of the latest ROM will be named CM9.1. But CyanogenMod team stated that they always present a full update version for each release of Android, to JB, they would call it a CM10.

The next question is "whether the device I would get the update CM10?" Unfortunately, this question is answered with "maybe." If your device is already using CM9, then most likely the device will get the update CM 10. This is because the update of the ICS to the JB is not as complicated as Gingerbread (GB) to the ICS, so the team does not have to compile ROM CyanogenMod them all over again. It also indicates that the release time range CM10 will be much faster than the release time range CM9.

In addition, CyanogenMod team will release the final build of CM9 and focus their work in updating and developing CM10 CM7. They also give confidence to continue releasing support for CM9 if there should be a new update to be released. Look forward to news of the release of CM10, just in Is Electro!
